Fruit Soup

Fruit Soup
A yummy and delicious soup to serve in the summertime. Try it with a light green salad on the side.

Fruit Soup

1 large peeled seedless orange -- separated
2 peeled, seeded, tangerines -- separated
1 large banana -- peeled
1 cup peaches
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 tbsp honey
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
Vanilla yogurt (optional)

Place the orange and tangerine sections in a food processor or in a blender and puree. Transfer the puree to a large mixing bowl, (straining if necessary to remove membranes)

Place the banana, peaches and pineapple in a food processor or blender and puree. Add the puree to the orange- tangerine mixture. Stir in the honey til dissolved.

Chill, covered for 2 hours or more. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and nutmeg before serving. I also like adding a dollop of vanilla yogurt
