Rice Pudding

Rice Pudding

Rice Pudding
Yield: 4 servings

2/3 c. instant rice
2 3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. raisins
1/3 c. chopped apple


Combine ingredients in a greased baking dish. Bake at 350°  for 1 hour, stirring after 15 minutes and again when pudding is done. Sprinke top with cinnamon if desired. Serve warm or chilled.
